Newborns sessions
Your new baby is only a newborn for such a short time, these types of shoots are shot with this in mind taking the time to capture every little detail of those tiny new little people as they sleep.
Please read over all the details below to see if my sessions are the right fit for you. If you have any questions please drop me a message either via social media, email or the contact tab above

I have a large selection of carefully selected props, beautiful accessories, hand made newborn outfits, fabrics & blankets.
Colours and ideas are discussed prior to your session which helps me to get a feel of your tastes, likes and dislikes.
You want your images to be timeless and suit your home for years to come no matter your decor.

To be able to achieve this, your shoot should take place before your little one is 4 weeks old. It is highly recommended that you book before your little one is born (anytime from your 20 week scan) to ensure my availability.
Obviously, babies do like to arrive when they are ready so once you have paid your booking fee I book you into my diary for your due date plus time either side to allow for this. Once your little one has arrived you get in contact to arrange the shoot.

Sibling, family and parent shots with your new baby can also be included if you require.

FAQs
When should I book, can I wait until my baby has arrived?
It is best to book prior to your baby arriving anytime from your 20 week scan is ideal. I only do a limited number of newborn shoots a month so this secures my availability but if you are reading this and your little one has already arrived or if they have already past the 4 week mark please do still get in contact as I may have availability plus I offer other options for slightly older babies.
When do Newborn Sessions take place, Can I have a weekend session?
Newborn shoots take place at my studio Tuesday-Thursday starting at 10.30. I do not shoot full newborn sessions on weekends, however, if you have school aged siblings or a partner thats returning to work, a separate session can be arranged on a weekend so that they can be involved in sibling and family shots (there is no extra charge for this).
When will I get my gallery?
2-3 weeks after your session your online gallery will be available (a link and password will be sent to you). If you have decided to upgrade to one of my beautiful USB packages these will be ordered once you have seen your online gallery.
I have a young sibling I'd like included in the sessions but I'm nervous they won't participate, do you have any advice?
I love shooting with siblings of all ages, toddlers can be slightly tricker but with patience, some distractions (toys, treats, even an iPad) it can be achieved. Every parent that comes to a session with young siblings has this worry, but you don't need to I will always try my best and work with what your little one is comfortable with.
I generally start session with family and sibling shots as the first half an hour is the best time to engage them. I do also recommend that where possible young siblings are taken off after their shots as it can be a long time for them to be in the studio.
